Once disengaged, the Sling-Ski® can easily fit into a pocket and accompany the user up and down the mountain. A second option for carrying the Sling-Ski® whilst skiing is to secure one holding member around each ski boot and ratchet until it is secured snuggly around the boot, ensuring that the buckles are positioned at the rear or outer sides of the ski boots. Finally, it could also be thrown into a corner of a backpack, should a user be skiing with one. The Sling-Ski® does not require the user to purchase a lock to secure it or to utilize a locker whilst skiing at the ski area.
