The ladder strap of the Sling-Ski® travels through 3 anchor points, the guide-mouth of the strap (A), the micro-adjustable ratcheting buckle (B) and the middle section of the alloy ring (C) when closed, preventing the Sling-Ski from pivoting on itself. In addition, the alloy ring (C) also functions to grip the teeth of the ladder strap, so that in the unlikely event of failure of the micro-adjustable ratcheting buckle, the Sling-Ski® will not suddenly release and drop, but instead keeps the skis safely secure.
